Thanks for visiting our humble little corner of the web! Humblechan was started out of a love for special things, especially vintage and thrift store finds. Times have changed, and we are now mostly a handmade paper goods shop! The name Humblechan came about rather simply -- it's the name of my best pal Humble and my own name combined. :o) It's a one-girl-one-cat operation: I maintain the shop, take the photographs, answer e.mails, package and ship the items offered -- Humble provides a whole lotta love and encouragement. He also does the books.

In the Etsy shop, you'll find homemade cards, mini albums, tags, packaging, stationery and other paper goodies.

For items in the 'Hundred Percent DONATION' section of the Etsy shop, the entire selling price will be donated to an animal organization. For all other items, 10% of the selling price will be donated. For 'Hundred Percent DONATION' items, the organization to which the donation will be made is mentioned in the item listings and shop announcement. For the 10% items, the organization to which the donation will be made is mentioned in the shop announcement. Donations will be rotated among the organizations and will be made when the amount reaches about $50. Why do I want to do this? Just because I love animals and believe they deserve loving care and tenderness.

Allergy Alert! Items from the shop are stored in boxes that my fur kid doesn't have easy access to, but it's nearly impossible to control every cat hair when I'm measuring items and packaging them for shipment. If you're allergic, it's something to consider!

A little more about yours truly: I love The Golden Girls [Bea Arthur as Dorothy Zbornak is my style hero!], craft supplies, Otis Redding, and making things with my hands. But most of all, I love hanging out with Humble -- he's hilarious and the most special little guy around.
